We’re thrilled to be one of the first Nordic partners of importer Belco's 'Fresh Coffee Clean Ocean' initiative to ship coffee to Europe by sail.

Our impact as a company reaches much further than roasting tasty coffee for our little community, and that’s why we’re mindful to take responsibility for that impact by supporting projects like these, and thus taking initiative for our inherited carbon emissions produced along the way. 

According to the EU climate commission, maritime freight accounts for 3-4% of the EU’s total carbon emissions at over 124 million tonnes of CO2 in 2021 alone. Belco’s mission is to transport 90% of the coffees they source by sail within the next 6 years, and we hope to be a part of that journey for many years to come.

This coffee has a nuttiness like roasted almonds, with a sweetness which reminds us of yellow plums, and a silky smooth milk chocolatey body.
